The OrJames Mini Start-Up Incubator is designed to encourage and coach members of the OrJames lab in entrepreneurship endeavors related to research carried out in my lab. After completing one and a half
to two years of research in the OrJames lab, students would have developed the breadth and depth of understanding needed to formulate novel ideas that can be translated to products that may benefit
a wide range of industries. The OrJames Mini Start-Up Incubator, using university resources, will specifically do the following:
Help with formulating idea, and
delivering the elevator speech,
coach in understanding intellectual property, development of product, licensing,
fundraising through competitions, grants, and investors.
